Scripture:
“Then I told them of the hand of my God… And they said, Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18 (KJV)
The Message:
Loss leaves rubble.
Broken dreams.
Broken trust.
Broken expectations.
Sometimes even broken faith.
Nehemiah stood in the ruins of Jerusalem and could have accepted the destruction as permanent.
But God gave him a burden to rebuild.
That is what God does.
He rebuilds.
Not always the exact way it was before.
But stronger.
Wiser.
More anchored.
Some of you are standing in ruins right now.
Looking at what was.
Wondering if anything can rise again.
Hear this:
God still rebuilds.
And ruined places are often where His glory shines brightest.
The Pathway Step:
Ask God what part of your life He is calling you to rebuild in this season.
Prayer:
Lord, You see every broken place in me. Where there has been loss, breathe restoration. Where there has been ruin, begin rebuilding. Strengthen my hands for the work ahead. In Jesus’ name—Amen.
