DAY 9: July 9 — Crossing New Rivers

Scripture:
“And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan… the waters… stood and rose up…” — Joshua 3:15–16 (KJV)

The Message:
Every new season has a crossing.

A place where you cannot stay where you were.

And you cannot yet fully stand where you are going.

That space can feel dangerous.

Unstable.

Uncertain.

Israel faced a river at flood stage.

Not at low tide.

Not at an easy crossing.

At flood stage.

God often waits until the obstacle looks impossible so His power becomes undeniable.

But the water did not move until the priests stepped in.

That matters.

Movement came after obedience.

Sometimes the river in front of you will not part until your feet get wet.

The Pathway Step:
What river is in front of you right now? Name it, and ask God for courage to step toward it.

Prayer:
Father, when the river in front of me looks too wide, remind me of Your power. Give me courage to step forward in faith and trust You to make a way. Amen.
